We specialise in dogs and cats and are a greyhound friendly facility.  However, we also see a wide variety of more exotic species including rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and tortoises.  We have good relationships with many of the local referral clinics, so if you present us with a case that we feel needs more advanced care, we will arrange for your pet to see the appropriate specialist without delay.

A note about prescriptions, refills, and food orders:

When ordering any food or medication, we ask that you please give us at least 24 hours notice of your requirements to ensure that your order is ready for you when you arrive, as sometimes we need to have the product shipped to us first.

Repeat medication prescriptions can only be fulfilled if the patient is currently under our veterinary care, which according to the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons means that the patient has been examined and re-assessed within the preceding 3-6 months by a vet regarding the problem for which the drug is being prescribed.  With certain drugs, this re-assessment may include the need for a blood test to be sure that the drug being used continues to be safe for the patient.

Requests for prescriptions are welcomed.  A medicine decision and administration fee is applicable to all prescriptions.  Written prescriptions will be ready for collection 1-2 working days after request.  Please feel free to ring us with any questions or concerns regarding your pet’s medications or diet!
